Your Mission
At MaxWell Biosystems, we develop advancedinstrumentation for neuroscience and life sciences applications. Ourinstruments consist of custom-designed CMOS-based sensor devices, a recordingsystem with FPGAs and other electronic and mechanical components as well assoftware for data acquisition and analysis. The internship project involves abroad variety of tasks and challenges. Ranging from mechanical designing totesting electrical readout circuits and collaborating with hardware suppliers.We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to implement and work on some ofthese challenging tasks.
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master studies in mechanical orelectrical engineering, physics, or related discipline
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.gSolidworks)
- Experience carrying out experiments, analyzingdata and documenting results
- Interest in hands-on work, such as building, assembling, and testingprototypes
- Basic knowledge with electronics or PCBdesign is a plus
- Interest in the field of neuroscience andbiotechnology
- Valid work permit for Switzerland required
